Hulu is Bringing Our Favorite Romantasy to Life with 'Everflame' Series!
Hulu is officially developing 'Everflame', a new drama series based on Penn Cole's wildly popular romantasy book, Spark of the Everflame. We are absolutely buzzing with excitement, because this news means our screens are about to get a major dose of magic, rebellion, and, of course, some seriously swoon-worthy romance!
This series is going to plunge us into a world where mortals live in poverty, subjugated by an elite, powerful race known as the Descended. Our fierce protagonist, Diem Bellator, finds herself on a mission to uncover the truth when her mother goes missing. Her suspicions quickly point to the most powerful and feared Descended in the kingdom, Prince Luther Corbois. Yes, you heard that right, a mysterious and potentially dangerous prince is involved!
As Diem embarks on her search for answers, she becomes an unexpected force in the mortal rebellion against the Descended. And because we love a good twist, her journey also places her at the center of an even MORE unexpected love triangle. Penn Cole herself is on board as a producer, working with Heidi Cole McAdams (from Death and Other Details), so we know our beloved story is in good hands.
