A Very Arctic Christmas
Why we love it ❤️
A dad and his daughter trading off Christmas traditions is the sweetest setup and we are already emotional. Isla pulling her dad out of Times Square for the Arctic is a power move and we respect it. Jim finding something unexpected along the way, with Jill Wagner in the mix, gives it that gentle romance on the side. It is wholesome, it is festive and it is the kind of movie you put on while wrapping presents.
What is A Very Arctic Christmas about?
Jim, a former major league baseball player turned broadcaster, played by Cameron Mathison, is a single dad who has hosted a Christmas Eve show from Times Square every year. His 20 year old daughter Isla, played by Maya Rose Skabar, convinces him to join her on a once in a lifetime Arctic cruise instead, promising they will be back in time for the broadcast. Jill Wagner plays Jane, who adds a spark of romance to the trip. Father and daughter take turns choosing how they spend the holiday, and this year it is Isla's turn.
