Emily Fairn, Leo Reich, and Olive Gray have the kind of chemistry that makes you believe they have actually been friends since freshman year. Every dating disaster and broke adult moment in this show feels like it was pulled straight from somebody's group chat screenshots. This is the messy, chaotic comfort watch for anyone who has ever cried in a group chat about rent. It gets worse before it gets better, but watching them figure it out together is the whole point.
What is It Gets Worse about?
It Gets Worse stars Emily Fairn as Abi, Leo Reich as Ethan, and Olive Gray as Sam, three former college best friends who get evicted from their London flat at the same time. As they scatter across the city to find new places to live, the three try to hold onto their friendship while dealing with dating disasters, bad jobs, and the general chaos of being an adult with no money. Gary Beadle plays Sandie, who gets pulled into their orbit as the group's situation gets messier. Each episode checks in on the friends as they deal with a new disaster, trying to keep their lives, and their friendship, from completely falling apart. The series is set in present day London.
