About us

You know that feeling when a show you loved has a 5.2 rating because it wasn't made for the bros reviewing it? Crushworthy exists because the romances, the slow burns, the guilty pleasures, and the messy love triangles deserve better. All of it. No apologies.

Everything here is curated with you in mind. Every title, every tag, every description. We organize by tropes, moods, and vibes because that's how we actually choose what to watch. Not by "action thriller" or "critically acclaimed." By "enemies to lovers," "beach vibes," and "will absolutely destroy you emotionally."

Who's behind this?

Hi, I'm Diana. I built Crushworthy because I wanted a place like this to exist and it didn't. I got tired of feeling like the shows and movies I loved were invisible or dismissed, so I made a home for them.

I've spent years watching more romance and drama than is probably healthy, and somewhere along the way I realized I had strong opinions about all of it. Which ones actually deliver on the slow burn. Which reality shows are worth the time investment. Which "critically panned" movies from 2004 are genuinely great and have just never gotten a fair shot.

Crushworthy is the result of that. A place where those opinions live, organized so you can actually find what you're looking for.

How we curate

The site uses TMDB as a starting point for discovering new titles and pulling in basic metadata. Everything else is curated here. The tags, the descriptions, the editorial takes. All of it is intentional and written for this specific audience.

A title makes it onto Crushworthy because it belongs here, not just because it exists. That means thinking about who actually watches it, what the experience of watching it is like, and whether it fits the audience this site is built for. We add new titles regularly as things come out and as older gems get rediscovered.
