Arthur & Clara
Why we love it ❤️
Two people who cannot stand each other trapped in a farmhouse is a recipe and we are eating. Mirren Mack as the actress who has had enough of being looked at gives us so much to love, and watching Arthur lose the attitude bit by bit is the real payoff. The quiet countryside makes every glance feel louder. It is a slow burn that gets under your skin and leaves you thinking about it long after it ends.
What is Arthur & Clara about?
Arthur, a pretentious filmmaker played by CJ Beckford, and Clara, an entitled and famous actress played by Mirren Mack, both escape to the same rural farmhouse to get away from the pressures of their lives. Neither is thrilled to share the space. As they slowly open up, they begin to see each other without the labels the world has given them. Kieran Bourne directs this romantic drama.
