My Duchess
Why we love it ❤️
Joan Collins playing Wallis Simpson is a casting choice that has us screaming. The woman who changed everything for love is looking back, and the glamour and the loneliness hit at the same time. Isabella Rossellini in the mix is the cherry on top. If The Crown made you obsessed with royal heartbreak, this is the sad, shiny, pearl clutching sequel you did not know you needed.
What is My Duchess about?
My Duchess tells the story of the final years of Wallis Simpson, the woman who married King Edward VIII and changed the monarchy forever. Joan Collins plays Wallis as an older woman living in Paris, with Laurent Lafitte as Jean Claude de Montalbon and Isabella Rossellini as Suzanne Blum. Miranda Richardson also stars. Mike Newell directs this drama about a woman whose love story became one of history's biggest scandals.
