What is Falling into Place about?
In Falling into Place, Kaia, played by Alvina August, returns to her hometown for its annual fall festival and her high school reunion. There she reconnects with her childhood best friend James, played by Nathan Witte. The two spend the week finishing a fall bucket list they wrote together years earlier and never completed. As they check items off the list, old routines and inside jokes come back easily, alongside new tension between them. The film takes place across festival scenes and the town's autumn traditions.
