Tobias and Almut's decade together is told out of sequence, which means you are always watching both the beginning and what it costs at the same time 🥹 Florence Pugh as Almut is doing something very specific about a woman who refuses to be defined by her diagnosis, and it makes the film considerably more interesting than a standard tearjerker. Andrew Garfield is exactly as good as you would expect. Bring tissues, but not because the film asks you to cry. Because it earns it.
