The chemistry between him and Adria Arjona is the whole show, two smart people who know exactly what the other one is hiding and cannot stop circling each other anyway. This is cat and mouse as foreplay, every scene loaded with the kind of tension that makes you scream at your screen. Kenneth Branagh and Lily Gladstone add serious weight so it never tips into pure fluff. If you love a rich, morally gray man who gets exactly what he wants, including the woman trying to catch him, this one is for you. We are fully on board for a remake that understands the assignment.
